Pete's Piercing Story

Genital Piercing - My Experience

I became interested in genital piercing after talking to a guy at a Naturist swim evening who had several piercings.  He had both foreskin (kuno piercing) and scrotal  (hafada) piercings and I just had to talk to him about them and thankfully he was happy to talk.  I went away to do my own research and joined a couple of piercing forums and discussion groups as well as a discussion on the subject on a Naturist forum group.  I was fascinated to find out about the many different types of genital piercing and I soon realised it was a matter of which piercing I would get myself rather than just another internet research project.

After some deliberation I decided that I wanted a Prince Albert piercing, which is probably the most famous and popular male genital piercing.  The PA may appear to be a severe puncture of the penis.  However, the piercing traverses only a very small amount of tissue, encompassing much less skin than the average earlobe piercing. In fact, it goes through some of the thinnest pierceable tissue on the body.  After a couple of false starts due to nerves, I eventually made an appointment with a very nice lady piercer who worked in a local tattoo studio.  She had her own private room that was as clean as a doctors surgery and she couldn’t have been more down to earth and reassuring as I undressed and prepared to let a woman who was a stranger 5 minutes earlier, handle and then stick a needle through my penis.

The procedure works by the piercer putting a receiving tube into the urethra (which is actually the most uncomfortable part) and then the piercing needle is pushed through the tissue either side of the frenulum (mine is to the the right, but it makes no difference) in a very short, sharp jab to meet the receiving tube in the urethra. Literally a second of pain and that was it. The chosen ring or bar is then put through the hole and job done.  Initial piercing is almost always done with a 2.4mm ring/bar and titanium is recommended due to it being inert to the body.

After a little bleeding over the first few hours, initial healing was very quick.  The PA is actually one of the fastest healing genital piercings. One's own urine is not harmful to the piercing. In fact, it functions much like the salt-water treatments that are suggested to promote healing.

Once the piercing was fully healed I was keen to “stretch” the piercing to larger sizes, which I steadily did over 18 months or so to the point where I now have a 6mm thick BCR (ball capture ring).  I have also changed to surgical steel rings as I’ve found that I enjoy the extra weight hanging from my penis. I find it both a physical and sensual experience.

With regards to sex, I have had both positive and negative responses.  I’m bisexual but as yet have only had anal sex with guys since I’ve had the PA piercing.  I’ve had one guy ask me to remove it before sex, but other than that it has been a favourable and pleasurable experience for both partners.  I can feel the ring move during sex and have great comments from partners that the ring felt great during sex.  I have also had sex with another guy who had a PA and I loved the feel of his ring moving inside me.  I also get a lot of positive comments and interest when I’m at a Naturist event, whether that’s a regular Naturist event or at gay Naturist events.  It’s certainly a conversation starter.

With anything, there are a couple of downsides.  There is a big metal ring (19mm inner diameter) though my urethra and so there is some dripping when having a piss. This is no problem at a urinal, but I find it easier to sit to piss when using a normal toilet. I also occasionally get a little chafing if the ball of the ring traps under my foreskin.  I guess a third downside is that when I ejaculate I can no longer shoot my cum any great distance.  Instead it oozes out as the urethra has a metal ring in it and also some cum diverts through the pierced hole, which is actually a pleasurable experience.

However, these are minor issues in the grand scheme of things and I really enjoy the look and feel of the PA through my cock. I also occasionally experiment with wearing multiple rings in my click, which certainly looks great and adds some extra sensations.  I will continue to stretch my piercing over time and hope to get up to a 10mm ring.

I have considered other piercings including a lorum, which is a piercing at the base of the penis and scrotal piercings (hafada) which many guys wear as a ladder of rings or bars down the scrotum. Another that interests me is a Guiche which a piercing in the perineum between the scrotum and anus.  Perhaps further piercing adventures await.

Anthony's DIY Piercing

I was interested in getting my penis pierced, so I contacted my local piercer regarding a foreskin piercing but was told to find a piercer that did genital piercing, after hearing that I gave up on the idea. After a few years, and not really wanting to find a genital piercer, I looked on the internet with regard to DIY piercing, however, 90% of the information was against doing these piercings yourself. Undaunted I looked at dozens of images of Prince Albert (in urethra out through back of glans) and Reverse. Prince Albert (in urethra out the top of glans), I ordered online the needles, there are varying sizes available. The first piercing I did was the 'PA'. What would take a professional minutes, took me hours, the first thing to get over is what you are doing, i.e. putting a razor sharp needle in your most sensitive spot, and secondly the BLOOD, in the event this lasted about 5 mins, after piercing the pain lasted about 30 secs, success, a few months later, after a lot of thinking about, I decided to do my RPA, almost the exact procedure, except this exited on top of the glans. Writing this article makes me shudder!!

The pain involved while doing the 'PA' & 'RPA' slowly the pain was minimal, The needle was a hypodermic syringe without the syringe. I looked at photos other guys piercings to get the exit point right, as if you are not circumcised the exit hole must be to the left or right of the frenulum, as I had removed mine I had a 'large' space to place the exit, regarding the hole for the ring, that was another problem, I had the hole but did not have ring at that time, but I did have a lot of plastic sleeving (electric wire casing without the wire), using a ballpoint pen refill (smooth steel and tapered, not BIC type) I slowly fed this through to exit and attached plastic tubing slightly larger than original hole and withdrew this, being a fresh wound this a bit painful (sore), leaving the plastic in place just to keep hole open (without this the hole would close up in about an hour), After a few days I began to 'enlarge' the hole (this should be done months later not days as I did), by doing this too soon I got what is called a 'blow out', this looks like a miniature doughnut ring around exit, the needle size to pierce was 1.6 mm and the ring I'm wearing now is 4.0 mm. regarding the 'RPA' it is the same size as piercing needle ( this is the minimum size for this piercing ),the 'PA' was done 19th May 14 & the 'RPA' was done 7th March 15, As to whether I would do it again, I don't know.
