To be honest I am not that keen on my foreskin, it is long enough such that it is difficult to keep back behind the glans even when erect. I have considered getting circumcised but that seems quite a step to take; I've seen some excellent results from adult circumcision sites, but I've also seen photos where the outcome didn't look so good, so I've never taken the plunge.
When soft, the only way I can guarantee keeping the foreskin back for any length of time is to fold it over; see the photo attached. However, even here the glans is still partially covered. And to be honest even in these 'soft' photos I'm not completely soft (it's difficult to stay completely soft when manipulating your foreskin for a photo). When completely soft the foreskin looks even longer.
Another thing that doesn't help with holding back the foreskin is the shape of my penis and the size of my glans. I have a decent sized penis but I must admit to being jealous of guys whose glans is noticeably larger than the shaft. If I were to chose my perfect penis it would be circumcised, with a very prominent glans. I guess the grass is always greener …!

I find it fascinating how a foreskin completely changes the look and feel of a penis. As you can see, I'm not circumsized but when I've been travelling - particulalry in the US - I have noticed that this is often unusual. Last year I spent some time in California and went to a few nude clubs and other guys were very interested in my foreskin. When it comes to appearance I think I prefer the skin to be rolled back and a partner I had at one stage used to insist that we rolled back our foreskins whenever we were intimate - I think he like the sensitivity of it. but I'd never lose it as it gives me a lot of pleasure!

David - In the soft photo with the foreskin retracted, you will see that there is a crevice where the glans and corona meet.  It appeared overnight when I was almost 14.  There was no pain or bleeding.  It was just there.   My doctor assured me it is a normal glans variant and it’s just the way I am.  I’m fine with that and it hasn’t done anything for the last 47 years.  However, I can’t find a name for it.  Since it is harmless, I guess it’s not important enough to have a name, but I think it should have one.  Perhaps your readers can suggest one.  The best I have come up with is “hemline” as in sewing.

As you can see, I am not circumcised, but I do like to practice auto-circumcision when in a naturist environment. This started about twenty-five years ago when I began to attend the spa at my local civic swimming pool on male only days. On my first few visits, I kept my foreskin covering my glans, but was intrigued when an uncircumcised guy came into the sauna box after showering, sat down facing me and immediately retracted his foreskin. He must have been doing it for sometime, as it sat quite neatly behind the glans and looked quite good. I thought, why not and retracted mine. Unfortunately, it kept slipping back, and after around three goes, the man said not to worry, as it will stay back on it's own after a period of time.

He was right, and now either on the beach, at a swim or club and in the house, I always wear my foreskin retracted when nude. I like the feel of it and do think it looks good. I don't think I would ever go the whole-hog and get a circumcision, but I do like my glans exposed when nude.
